Dear Fourth Church,
Verse three of this morning’s Old Testament reading, Isaiah 55:1–3, captures some of the blessing and promise we will find in the Lord as we gather in his name this Sabbath day:
Incline your ear, and come to me;
hear, that your soul may live;
and I will make with you an everlasting covenant,
my steadfast, sure love for David.
