The Children’s Ministry of Fourth Presbyterian Church is committed to coming alongside families to provide a loving, nurturing atmosphere for children as they learn to know, love, and follow the Lord Jesus Christ.

Bagels & Bikes | June 19

9:30-11:00 a.m., Lower Parking Lot
Bring your child's bike or scooter and enjoy coffee, juice, treats, and fellowship with other families!

Woodacres Park Meetups | June 30 & July 17

9:30-11:00 a.m., Woodacres Park, 5850 Wynnwood Rd., Bethesda MD 20816
Join us for a casual meetup and playtime for children.

Rising 4th and 5th Grade Bible Study | June 13, June 27, July 11, & July 25

5:00-5:45 p.m., Drop off at host home, pick up at the Portico at church
Bible Study will include games and activities, skits, Scripture memory, and a Bible lesson.

Summer Reading Club | July 1-31

Terrific Thursdays | July 8, 15, & 22

Drop off at 9:30 a.m., pick up at 11:00 a.m., Lower Parking Lot
This is a free event. Rising 1st-5th graders can join staff and volunteers outside for Bible stories and VBS-like games & activities. Youth and adult volunteers are needed for this event.

Weekly Activities for Summer

Children's Church

Sundays, during the 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. services, age 2.5 through 3rd grade, face masks required
When you enter the building, please check in children at our welcome table (9:30 in Halverson Hall, 11:00 by the Lower Parking Lot entrance) for name tags before proceeding to the service. Children are dismissed before the sermon, escorted by their teachers to classrooms for Bible lessons, and escorted back to the service during the closing hymn.

Preschool Story Time

Tuesdays, 10:30 a.m., at the Outdoor Tent adjacent to the Upper Parking Lot
Join us outside for a Bible story, craft, and fun activities!

Online Sunday School Lessons

Sent weekly via email
The lessons include a Bible story video, activity sheets, and reinforcement questions for parents. The lessons will follow the Gospel Project curriculum, the same lessons that will be taught in Children’s Church.
