This class, taught by Rev. Jules Grisham, meets in the Upper Room. Of the 1,005 songs Solomon composed, the Song of Songs is the greatest of them all. We will work through a book of poetry filled with vivid, technicolor sights and sounds of nature in bloom, echoing the Garden of Eden and giving us glimmers of heaven. The Song of Songs is a picture of paradise regained in the context of marital love, and the whole of it is but a grand analogy of Christ’s love for his bride, the church. Join us for a mediation on holy love and redeemed desire, “the very flame of the LORD.”
