“The Lord of Psalm 23: Jesus Our Shepherd, Companion and Host,” by David Gibson. Facilitated by Allison Harrison. Dig deeper into Psalm 23 finding fresh encouragement in each verse, as David Gibson examines the psalm’s three depictions of our union with Christ: sheep and shepherd, traveler and companion, and guest and host. Gibson provides canonical context for the psalm’s beautiful imagery, inspiring praise, and wonder as readers reflect on the loving Shepherd who meets our every need.

“On Reading Well: Finding the Good Life Through Great Books,” by Karen Swallow Prior. Facilitated by Joe Ann Stenstrom. Enjoy this guided tour through works of great literature, exploring twelve virtues that philosophers and theologians throughout history have identified as essential for good character and the good life. Swallow Prior explores some of the most compelling universal themes in classic books, helping readers learn to love life, literature, and God through their encounter with great writing. To register, visit the Women’s Ministry webpage at 4thpres.org/women. Email Suki Dicker at sdicker@4thpres.org for more information.
