Membership

Graphics_Aboutus_membershipFourth Presbyterian Church, part of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church (EPC), is a congregation of people committed to Jesus Christ. Each member is a vitally unique and important person in our church family.  At the same time, we are a large church with over 1600 members, and an old church, 187 years.

The New Members Class is an eight-week course introducing Fourth to you, and you to Fourth. The class serves to inform you on what it means to be a member of Fourth and, at the conclusion of the course, you have the opportunity to join our family. Attendance is required for all who want to become members, whether by initial profession of faith in Jesus Christ or by letter of transfer from another church.

Prospective members are encouraged to familiarize themselves with Fourth’s Confession of Faith and with EPC’s Essentials of Our Faith.

If you are interested in learning more about Fourth, and our beliefs, please visit the Welcome Center on any Sunday for more information or contact Ralph Miller.  Classes are offered in the Spring and Fall as part of Adult Discipleship Sunday School.
