College Ministry

Weekly Bible Study
Thursdays, through July 25, 6:30–8:00 p.m., Offsite
Come study God’s word and enjoy fellowship. We’ll meet offsite at a church member’s home. Bring a bathing suit and towel for swimming afterward.

Disability Ministry

Dads Support Group
Saturday, June 15, 7:00-8:30 p.m., Online
We meet online to provide mutual support, prayer, and encouragement for dads of any age children with disabilities. All are welcome. Contact Tricia Han for the Zoom links.

Young Adult Fellowship
Monday, June 17, 4:30-5:30 p.m., Online
This virtual fellowship provides a great opportunity for young men and women (ages 21+) to gather and build friendships through fun conversation, music, and games. For questions and the Zoom link, contact Tricia Han.

Men’s Ministry

Online Proverbs Study
Mondays, 8:00 p.m., Online
Men of all ages are invited to join this informal study of Proverbs, chapter by chapter, spurring fellowship and deepening our engagement with God’s word. Each week we study the chapter corresponding to the date.

Mission DMV Ministry

YoungLives Summer Camp
July 12-17, Offsite
Spend a week caring for babies and children so young moms and their children can hear the gospel and enjoy camp. Adults are needed as well as teens 14 and above who can serve with their parents. Help with raising support to cover the costs of camp is available. Please email YLVS@4thpres.org with questions and more info.

Missions Ministry

Prayer for Unreached People Groups

Join us the third Sunday of each month for a quick but meaningful prayer time before the evening service. This month we will pray for the people of Malaysia. For more information, contact Director of Missions and Outreach, Janie Randell.

Kairos Course: “God, the Church, and the World”
Thursdays, August 1-September 26, 7-9 p.m.
Join this nine-session EPC World Outreach course that demonstrates God’s love for the peoples of the world and our call to be a blessing to them. Kairos helps believers understand God’s purpose for every cultural group in the world including those largely unchurched. Register at https://www.epcwo.org/kairos/.

Music Ministry

Summer Music Camp
Saturday, July 27, 9:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
This one-day camp is open to all rising 2nd through 8th graders interested in music; all skill levels are welcome. A highlight this year will be a tour of the inner workings of the pipe organ. Camp is free and lunch is included. Registration is open.

Women’s Ministry

Summer Book Clubs
This summer we are offering four book club options meeting either Tuesday nights or Wednesday mornings. For more information and to register, see the Women’s Ministry webpage.

Summer Sixes
Join a small group in your geographical area for coffee, brunch, or a casual potluck dinner two or three times over the summer. This is a way to forge new friendships with women of Fourth. Sign up and your assigned group will be emailed to you by mid-June and you’ll receive additional information about how the groups work. Registration closes Sunday, June 16.

Young Adults Ministry

Young Adult Dinner
Thursday, June 27, 6:45 p.m., Offsite
Bring your favorite dish to our potluck dinner for a time when the entire young adult community (20s, 30s, married, single) can come together and meet new people. A great place for those who can’t make Sunday morning class to reconnect or stay connected with each other and with those frequently involved. Youth Ministry

High School NBA Watch Party
Friday, June 14, 7:00-10:30 p.m., Room 007
Bring your friends to our NBA Finals Watch Party for an awesome hangout with plenty of great food. Contact Jake Willeman with questions.

Summer Camp
June 20-24, $635, Offsite
Camp is next week and it’s not too late to sign up! Rising 6th-12th graders bring your friends and come for a time of games, skits, worship, water sports, and getting into God’s word on the Chesapeake Bay. It’s a great way to kick off the summer with new and old friends. Scholarships are available; contact Rob Henneberg before filling out the registration form. Registration is open.

Middle School Bowling Night
Friday, June 28, 6:15-8:15 p.m., $25.00, Lower Lot
We’re taking middle schoolers for a night of fun and fellowship at the local bowling alley! Drop off and pick up in Lower Lot.  Contact Clay Stevens for more information.

High School Operation Bethesda
Friday, June 28, 7:00-9:00 p.m., Lower Lot
The downtown Bethesda scavenger hunt is a summer favorite for high schoolers! We’ll meet up for ice cream after the hunt. Drop off and pick up in Lower Lot. Contact Jake Willeman for more information.

Middle and High School TNT
Tuesdays, through July 30, 6:30-8:15 p.m., Lower Lot
Fourth is the place to be on Tuesdays this summer for rising 6th-12th graders! Come for the games, music, and testimonies from our Summer Staff followed by talks about Jesus’ “I Am” statements. Come at 6:00 p.m. for hot dogs!

Fellowship at Five
Sundays, through July 28 (not meeting June 23), 5:00-6:00 p.m., Upper Lot
Middle and high school students are invited to hang out with Summer Staff before the 6:00 p.m. evening service. Bring your friends to the lawn above the Upper Lot for food and games and afterward we will go to the evening service together. After the service enjoy fellowship and frozen treats outside on the Sanctuary steps. Contact Clay Stevens for more information.
