Adult Education

Alpha
Hosted in private homes, the eight-week Alpha course is designed to introduce the basics of the Christian faith through a series of talks and discussions, in a casual and friendly atmosphere. Each week features dinner, fellowship, and a 25-minute film. Please email alpha@4thpres.org to learn more about the groups now forming and prayerfully consider who you might invite to attend Alpha.

Children’s Ministry

Coffee Ministry Support
Coffee is available in Halverson Hall between services. Please join our team and volunteer to set up and prepare coffee during the morning services. Various shifts are available to serve each month. For more information or to sign up, contact coffee@4thpres.org.

Mission DMV
Drive-Through Collection & Food Drive | Saturday, April 15, 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
Bring contributions of food, diapers, clothing (socks, underwear, shoes, and boots), and household items in brown paper bags with handles. Donated items go to ministry partners and neighbors in the DMV. Please note the collection is the third week of the month for April only.

Parent Support Groups
Meet online to provide mutual support, prayer, and encouragement for moms and dads of any age children who have special needs. The groups are now reading and discussing “Parenting and Disabilities: Abiding in God’s Presence” by Stephanie O. Hubach. All are welcome.

Young Adult Ministry
Thursday Night Praise and Prayer | April 6 & 20, 7:00 p.m., Offsite
A casual, often intergenerational, gathering to sing and read Scripture together. Email Dave Frerichs for details.
Second Sunday Neighborhood Lunch | April 11, Offsite
Enjoy lunch and the chance to get to know other young adults as well as the different families who open their homes. Held the second Sunday of every month after the 11:00 a.m. service. Location announced in class or email Dave Frerichs for location details.

Youth Ministry

Sign up is required for students to help with the Drive-Through Collection and Food Drive. Two shifts are available: 10:00-11:30 a.m. or 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Contact Noel Bradley to register.
