Children’s Ministry

Memory Zone Volunteers Needed | Sunday mornings, Children’s Library
Beginning October 2, children will come “beneath the stars” to the Memory Zone to recite memory verses. Each week, monitors are needed 15 minutes before and after Sunday school (9:15-9:30 a.m. and/or 10:35-10:50 a.m.) to hear little ones recite God’s word and distribute prizes. Did you know?
Online giving on Fourth’s website is easy and secure. Go to 4thpres.org/giving.
- If you give by check, your check has everything we need to record your gift for tax purposes.
- An envelope with your name and address is needed for tax credit only when you are giving cash.
- Giving envelopes are mailed every three months to those who request them. We are happy to send them if you want them.
- If you no longer need or want giving envelopes, please email to be removed from the envelope mailing list.

Mission DMV
Drive-Through Collection & Food Drive | Saturday, October 8, 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
Bring contributions of food, diapers, clothing (socks, underwear, shoes, and boots), and household items in brown paper bags with handles. Donated items go to ministry partners and neighbors in the DMV.

English Classes | Wednesdays, 7:00 p.m., Various Rooms
New students can register throughout the September–May course year. Visit 4thpres.org/englishclasses. Volunteers are also needed to be conversation partners with our students. The commitment is 30 minutes each week either online or in person.

Young Adult Ministry
Progressive Dinner | Friday, September 30, 6:00-10:00 p.m., Offsite
The progressive dinner is a multi-course meal where each course is served at a different church member’s home. Registration for this event is currently closed. Please email Dave (dfrerichs@4thpres.org) to be added to the waiting list.
Second Sunday Lunch | October 9, 12:30 p.m., Offsite
Enjoy lunch and the chance to get to know other young adults as well as the different Fourth families who open their homes. Held once a month after the 11:00 a.m. service.
Fall Retreat | October 14-16, Camp Wabanna, Edgewater, MD
Join us in this beautiful setting as Dr. Scott Redd speaks on “Life in Sojourn: the Psalms of Ascents for the Christian Life.” Connect with the wider young adult community, grow in Christ, and form deeper relationships. Spaces available for married and single young adults. Register online.

Middle School Friday Night Club | Friday, September 30, 6:30-8:00 p.m., Room 102
Bring your friends to a fun-filled night of playing games and making new friends, followed by a faith message.

After the evening service, middle and high school students are invited to have dessert and remember the good times from the past weekend.

Middle and high school students, come hear God’s word and reflect on Jesus’ teaching as we read through the Book of Matthew. Bring a Bible and notebook.
Parent Fellowship | Wednesdays, through December 14, 7:00-8:00 p.m., Room 200
Spend time with parents of other middle and high school students during the youth Bible Study. We will also discuss the Book of Matthew, providing a great opportunity for families to discuss together.
