Children’s Ministry

Parents, please check in your children before classes at the computers at the Children’s Welcome Center on the first floor or the computers outside the Children’s Library on the second floor. Once your class or service concludes, please immediately pick up your children from Sunday School or Cherub/Children’s Church.

8:00  and 11:00 a.m. 
Nursery, infants-age 2, Room 133
Cherub Church, age 3-preK, Room 218 – Children are escorted by teachers from their classroom to Cherub Church for singing and teaching and back for crafts and activities; pick up in original classroom.
Children’s Church, K-3rd grade, Room 212 – Children sit with their parents in the service, go to the front when the pastor calls them forward for prayer, and are then escorted to their classrooms. If your child does not have a name tag, please go to the back to be assisted by a Children’s Ministry volunteer as your child goes forward. Please pick up your children in Room 212.

Men’s Ministry

Mission DMV

Drive-Through Collection & Food Drive | Saturday, May 14, 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
Bring contributions of food, diapers, clothing (socks, underwear, shoes, and boots), and household items in brown paper bags with handles. Donated items go to Fourth’s ministry partners and neighbors in the DMV.

YoungLives Summer Camp Service Opportunity | August 1-6, $619/volunteer, Lake Champion Camp, Glen Spey, NY
Care for the children of teen moms while they attend summer camp activities at YoungLives Summer Camp (a division of Young Life providing a Christ-centered summer camp experience and childcare for teen mothers). This trip is open to adults and teens. Teens ages 16-17 can serve with an adult chaperone; teens ages 14-15 must serve with a parent. “Mission Trip” letter samples will be provided to raise money. Special Blessings

Dads’ Group | Saturday, May 14, 7:00-8:30 p.m., Online
We meet online the second Saturday of each month to provide mutual support, prayer, and encouragement for fathers of young or adult children (any age) with special needs. The group is currently discussing “Sharing Love Abundantly in Special Needs Families” by Gary Chapman and Jolene Philo.

Youth Ministry

Summer Camp | June 19-23, NorthBay Adventure Camp
Rising 6th-12th grade students and friends can now register for SuperCamp.  Sign up by June 5 for the early bird special of $575; cost is $635 after that date.

Student and Parent Informational Meeting for Rising 12th Grade Mission Trip | Wednesday, May 11, 7:30 p.m., Room 102
Current juniors and their parents are encouraged to attend this meeting to learn about the Senior mission trip to Puerto Rico, July 20-28. RSVP helpful but not required.

Opportunity to Serve | Drive-Through Collection & Food Drive, Saturdays, May 14 and June 11, Upper Portico, 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
High school students, 9th-12 grade, and families volunteer to help unload and sort food and household donations. SSL hours are available. Email Noel for questions or to sign up.

Baccalaureate Service | Sunday, May 15, 6:00 p.m., Upper Room
All students and their families are invited to the Baccalaureate service. Seniors and their family are invited to attend our Baccalaureate dinner after the service in Room 007. The cost is $10 per person, seniors attend at no cost. Register online.
