Annual Congregational Meeting
The Annual Congregational Meeting will be held February 13, in the Sanctuary, following the 11:00 a.m. service. All members are encouraged to attend. Members will vote on the Nominating Committee report, the 2022 proposed budget, and hear the Reading of the Roll of the Church Triumphant. Information on officer candidates, the 2022 budget, and minutes from the 2021 Annual Meeting can be found in the Library and Church Office.
2022 Budget Q&A Information Session | Sunday, February 6, Room 131. Stop by to talk with the Finance and Stewardship Committee members about the 2022 budget.
Children’s Ministry
Parents, please check in your children before classes at the computers at the Children’s Welcome Center on the first floor or the computers outside the Children’s Library on the second floor. Face masks are required for Sunday School, Cherub Church, and Children’s Church.
Congregational Meeting Childcare | Childcare, infants–age 4, is available during the Congregational Meeting, February 13, 12:30—2:00 p.m. Reserve by Wednesday, February 9; email mbettridge@4thpres.org. Bring a bag lunch for each child, no nut products.
Nursery | Sundays during the 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. services, infants-2 years old. Face masks are not required.
Sunday School | Classes during the 9:30 a.m. service for age 2 through 5th grade.
Cherub Church | Sundays, 11:00 a.m. service, age 2 to pre-kindergarten. Children begin in their classroom and are escorted by their teachers to Cherub Church for singing and teaching. They are escorted back to their classrooms for crafts and activities. Parents please pick up your children in their classroom after the service.
Children’s Church | Sundays, 11:00 a.m. service, kindergarten to 3rd grade. Children will be dismissed before the sermon and accompanied by their teachers to Children’s Church. Parents please pick up your children from their classroom immediately after the service.

DivorceCare
DivorceCare Support Group | Tuesdays, through April 5, 7:00 p.m., Emmaus House. This Bible-centered support group offers a non-judgmental place of hope and healing from the pain of separation or divorce. Missions & Outreach
Missions Conference | “God’s Providential Care for his People”, March 25-30. Come to meet some of Fourth’s missionaries. The Friday night banquet, 7:00 p.m., features ROSE Women’s Foundation. On Sunday, missionaries will attend Sunday activities and Wednesday night there will be a virtual missions fair for adults. See the Missions webpage for information.

Mission DMV Opportunities
“Take Over the Mission” | February 21, Central Union Mission. This is a great opportunity for individuals, community groups, or teams to experience the love of Christ at work in the lives of the homeless. We will support meal preparation and service, shelter upkeep, and prayer stations and participate in program tours and hear participants share their stories. There are morning and afternoon shifts available, and the day will conclude with the evening chapel service led by Larry Huff. Please register on the Mission DMV webpage.
Drive-Through Collection & Food Drive | Saturday, February 12, 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Bring contributions of food, diapers, clothing (socks, underwear, shoes, and boots), and household items in brown paper bags with handles. Donated items go to Fourth’s ministry partners and neighbors in the DMV.

Women’s Ministry
Bible Studies | Our weekly Bible study, G2G, a study on II Corinthians, Knowing the Bible, is ongoing. There are four options (in person and via Zoom) to gather. We conclude the week of March 21, to be followed by a six-week study on the I AM’s of Jesus.
Women’s Ministry Retreat | Saturday, February 26, 9:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m., Westfields Marriott, Chantilly, VA. Registration is open through February 14. Hear author/speaker Ellen Vaughn discuss “Bold Hope” based on 2 Corinthians 3:12. For those wishing to stay the weekend, a small block of rooms has been reserved at a discounted price, but reservations must be made soon.

Youth Ministry
Middle School Winter Retreat | February 11-13, NorthBay Retreat Center. Come enjoy outdoor winter fun, build lasting friendships, and hear faith-deepening talks. Registration deadline is Friday, February 4; scholarships are available.
Middle and High School Bible Studies | Wednesdays, 6:30-8:00 p.m., Room 102. Students in 6th-12th grade, join our weekly Wednesday night Bible studies. After fun and fellowship, we will divide by grade/gender and study the book of Exodus. Drop-off and pickup in the Lower Parking Lot.
Youth Parent Fellowship | Wednesdays, 6:30-8:00 p.m., The Commons. Parents of 6th-12th grade students, join us for this time set aside for fellowship, conversations on parenting, and prayer.
TIC-TAC Youth Discussion on Culture | Sunday, February 6, 5:00-6:00 p.m., Room 007. All 6th-12th graders and friends come join us for TIC-TAC (Truth In Culture-Truth And Culture). During these gatherings, we explore culturally relevant issues, look at the Christian world view, ask questions, share our faith, and pray together. We encourage students to stay and attend our 6:00 p.m. service together with youth leaders. Afterward, we take a walk to get ice cream. Drop-off and pickup at 8:00 p.m. in the Lower Parking Lot.
