Dear Fourth Church,
I am eager to sing the contemporary hymn “In Christ Alone” with you this morning. This rich, gospel-proclaiming hymn is fitting as we continue our sermon series in the Book of John. The first verse of our Scripture reading today is John 8:12, “When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, ‘I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.’” May we remember and celebrate this morning the hope found in Jesus.
