Adult Education

Children’s Ministry
Nursery | Now open Sundays during the 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. services, infants-2 years old. Parents, please check in your children with caregivers in rooms. An usher can direct you to the appropriate room.
Children’s Church | Sundays, during the 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. services. Children age 2.5 through 3rd grade will be dismissed before the sermon and accompanied by their teachers to their classrooms. Parents, please pick up your children from their classrooms immediately after the service. Children must be checked in at the Welcome Table in Halverson Hall before worship to receive a name tag. All children must wear masks in the classroom.

Coffee Ministry
Join the Sunday Morning Coffee Team | Volunteer to set up and prepare coffee during the morning services. Various shifts are available to serve each month.

Volunteer at the Checkout Desk | The Media Center is open Sundays, 9:00-11:00 a.m., and Mondays-Thursdays, 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Please consider assisting with checkouts Sunday mornings.

SERVE Opportunities
Fellowship Dinner | Provide a portion of a dinner for 24 women and children at Clark Inn (Samaritan Inns’ Women with Children Program). Provide a main course, side dish, dessert, or beverage and deliver to a Bethesda home. Next opportunity is September 12.
Donate to Clark Inn | Clark Inn is seeking large pots and pans and “new to you” living room furniture.

Young Adults
Progressive Dinner | September 11, 5:45-10:00 p.m. Dress up for a night of fun! The progressive dinner is a multi-course meal where each course is in a different church member’s home. Registration is required. For location and more information, email David Frerichs.
Fall Retreat | October 29-31, Camp Wabanna. Join us for a weekend of growth in Christ and fellowship with one another. Dr. Bill Davis of Covenant College will explore the Ten Commandments and their role in the Christian life. Online registration is required; deadline is October 10. The cost is $175.
