Sunday Gatherings, June 20

Dear Fourth Church,

Reminder: starting today, the 8:00 a.m. service is face masks optional, open seating, no RSVPs required. The 11:00 a.m. is the only Sunday service where RSVPs, masks, and physical distancing apply.

One of the Hymns of Response for this evening’s service is “Come, Ye Sinners.”* The lyric preaches the gospel to us afresh—we are sinners in need of a Savior and only Christ can save. His once-for-all sacrifice for our sins and perfect righteousness imputed to our account are the wondrous means of our salvation, our hope, our joy.

Verses 3 and 5:

Come, ye weary, heavy laden,
Bruised and broken by the fall
If you tarry ’til you’re better
You will never come at all
Not the righteous, not the righteous
Sinners Jesus came to call

Lo! The Incarnate God, ascended
Pleads the merit of His blood
Venture on Him, venture wholly
Let no other trust intrude
None but Jesus, none but Jesus
Can do helpless sinners good

If you are unable to attend services today, please note that the 9:30 service is available by livestream. You can view the livestream or dial 855-217-0187 to listen by phone. Both methods are available in real time or later on demand.
