Welcome to the Outreach Ministry

Vision Statement

The commitment of this church to this present world is a very compelling reality, for there is no sense of insularity about the thinking of the membership. Indeed, the opposite is exhibited in the commitment of the church to the world. The whole ethos of the church is clearly to equip the members of the congregation for service throughout the world and across the variety of cultures and ethnic divisions that characterize this present age. There is a clear challenge for every church member, regardless of age and background, to experience what it is like to carry the Christian message to every culture and people, and to offer real and practical support and encouragement to those who undertake this mission on a full-time basis. What is fascinating to observe are the number of people who are supported in full-time Christian work throughout North America and around the globe. There is a pervading atmosphere in which each member of the church accepts the responsibility to be a missionary in their culture and through their employment.

Indeed, what is interesting is to witness the ways in which members of this congregation, while clearly committed to a traditional and historic Christian message, nevertheless are taking the lead in utilizing every technological advantage in disseminating that message.
