Young Married Fellowship
Young Married Fellowship (YMF) is a fellowship of young married couples who desire to learn, grow, serve, and share life together. Our gatherings–including Sunday school, bi-weekly Bible study, and service and social activities–offer opportunities to build friendships and to grow as husbands, wives, and as followers of Jesus. Not only do we learn from one another as we go through similar experiences, but we also have pastors, teachers, and mentor couples who offer wisdom, guidance, perspective, and examples. We hope that together we will spur one another towards love and good deeds (Hebrews 10:24-25).

Encouraging married couples in their 20’s and 30’s to love God and each other, our fellowship includes Bible study, social activities, fellowship, and mentor couples. This year we study the Book of Galatians.
Our mentor couples have 50+ years of marriage experience (combined). They are a great resource for wisdom and encouragement through the joys and struggles of married life. Mentor couples also open up their lives and homes to the group. You can get a chance to get to meet them at Sunday School.
In the past, our service activities have included monthly childcare during evening service, food service at soup kitchens in downtown DC, and ushering tables during the annual Missions Banquet. As a group, we encourage each of our members to get involved and serve in the general church body. Some of our current members serve as teachers in the Children’s Ministry, musicians during Sunday services, Bible study leaders in the Student Ministry, volunteers in the library, and much more.
